La Gondola was first brought to Matosinhos, Portugal by the Italians in 1940. In the 1980s La Gondola decided to diversify their canning production, allowing for the highest quality products. The brands gourmet products are increasingly sought after in various markets. 80% of La Gondola's products are destined to be exported to various markets around the world, they are currently present in multiple countries and several continents to this day.  Tin Can Fish is one of the few lucky companies to have rights in the United States. These delicious sardines are caught and packaged in Matosinhos, a small city in Portugal. On May, 4th, 1940, the 'Luças & Cª., Lda.' company was born and registered. Good boy was created in 1950 by Antonio Jacinto Ferreira. His company Ferreira Junior & Irmaos, Lda was created to be family brand for himself and his children. Four years after the creation of Good Boy they migrated into Antonio's new endeavor Conserveira do Sul. After a 65 year hiatus Good Boy returned in 2015 with the face of the brand still intact, Antonio's son Jorge. The theme of this product is the nostalgia of childhood, each packaging has the image of an old toy or a traditional game.
