Sete Mares translates to 7 seas.  This brand comes from a couple that have mixed heritage of Portugal and Poland.  Produced in the Algarve region with standards that appeal to different cultures that both have exacting taste profiles. 

This brand is very dynamic with beautiful labels and flavor profiles.  If you like fish forward production this is the one for you.  Very hard to find as the production numbers are low and distribution is limited.

These mackerel are whole (no heads no tales) with skin and bones (so and edible).  A favorite item the EU, and particularly Poland, this items is less popular in the us.  The product is more like a sardine production but with the more neutral flavor.  If you are adventurous this your item!
